Valdani home-weaved stitchery fabric is 80% cotton and 20% linen. The fabric is a smooth, perfectly balanced fabric, with approximately 14/14 thread per cm. The combination of linen and cotton fibers allows air to circulate freely. If you are using this foundation cloth for cross stitching designs the count is similar to 32 count linen. This is ideal for hand stitching, wool applique, cotton applique, punch needle for Smart Needle medium sized needles, Ultra Punch medium sized needle, and The Oxford mini (#14) needle.
